Emily Cook~Week three~Since we're on flowers...

It seemed appropriate to post another flower image since we all seem to be taking advantage of spring. This was taken with a Cannon EOS 20D, focal length 28 mm and ISO 400. 1/4000 at f3.2 to create a narrow depth of field. I like the bright red contrasted with the white and green background.

  1. I like how you captured depth here. These are some of my favorite photos when the focus is on macro and focused on one thing. Like the colors, its very lovely.

  2. Very "painterly" composition with the out of focus high-key background leading the eye to the in-focus tulip. Beautiful!
