I couldn't decide which one of these photos I like more. Both have good sight lines which direct you towards the action and those sight lines in both photos help form a triangle that contains the action and holds your attention in the important areas.
I like both of these as well. In the top photo, the girls eyes create a line to the V of the chicken-rooster-bird. In the second photo, my attention was immediately drawn to discover what the boys were looking at -- otherwise, I may not have noticed the fish.
